Event Description

INNOVIZ Intercollege Project Innovation Contest (INNOVIZ-2019) is a Mumbai Level Project Competition which provides opportunity to final year B.E/B.Tech students of Mechanical/Production/Automobile as Electronics/Instrumentation/Ind. Electronics department to showcase their technical skills, Innovative ideas and competency to solve real life problems. The theme of INNOVIZ-2019 centers around “Initiate, Innovate and Implement for Smarter India", while focusing on exploring different trends of Innovation in the areas of Technology.

The main aim or purpose for conducting such a competition is to enhance the knowledge of student and motivate them to compete in the global competitive engineering field and they can make awareness about fast growing technologies, its real applications in industries, knowing about other’s innovations, building of their inherent abilities and improvement of their communication is possible by shearing of their knowledge to the others.

Potential project groups from various engineering institutions are invited to submit abstract (.doc or .pdf format), video link of working model (.mpeg, .mp4 format), and description of about one page (.pdf or.doc format) on the topics related to INNOVIZ-2019 competition. There will be two verticals corresponding to different domains.

Experts from industry and academics will review the submitted project deliverables and shortlist Top Ten projects groups (per vertical). The shortlisted project groups will be informed well in advance before the final competition. The shortlisted groups will have to showcase their projects using presentation and live demonstration (if it is really bulky then Movie/photos). There will be two rounds of evaluation conducted by a panel of judges from industry. In the first round, the judges will select three best projects from each vertical and on same day in second round prize will be distributed.

Enrollment Process: (For Each Vertical)

  1. Each College can nominate 1 Group from each Branch.
  2. Enrollment fees is Rs. 100/- per group. To be paid by Paytm to 9819451944. Please mention wallet Txn ID in submission form.
  3. Last Date of Enrollment is 13th April 2019.
  4.  Enrollment from will be provided in hard/soft copy which must be submitted along with enrollment fees at any of our offices/at our executive at your college.
  5.   After scrutiny we will send you confirmation email saying your entry has been qualified.
  6. There is no limit to entries from same college.

Selection Process: (For Each Vertical)

  1. All qualified projects will be asked to submit in detail information about the project. All information has to be provided in prescribed format given by us in soft copy only before 31st March 2019.
  2.   Our Panel will go thru all qualified projects and select ten projects from each vertical. Decision of panel will be final and binding to all.
  3. These ten groups from each vertical will be invited to one place for paper presentation. Each group will have 15 minutes time to present the paper. For working models video or actual working prototype is must. If working model is too heavy, then video will be accepted. However, it must be clear enough to explore all aspect of functions.

Project Weightage Guideline

  1. Project can be in the area of Design, Feasibility study or Manufacturing.
  2. Main objectives of the project idea competition were to improve quality of life of people, improving environment and contributing to economic development of  nation. All project idea were from engineering field, for new or improvement in existing products or processes. It may be of proposing a better method of analysis or design, use of materials or use of waste materials, optimized use of resources, including energy requirement, improving sustainability, safety or adding value to products or processes.
  3. Following points will carry weightage in %
